How I work with my clients
One of the great things about coaching, for both the client and the coach, is that you don't have to be in the same geographic location. I do most of my coaching by phone, so you can be anywhere in the world!
As an introductory offer, I have a gift for new clients that will help with those calls.
A typical coaching session lasts 1/2 hour and takes place at a regularly scheduled time each week. So, that's four sessions per month. The client makes the call to me. (As an introductory offer, I have a gift for new clients that will help with those calls.)
I request an initial commitment of three months. I also request an intake session of approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours before we began our monthly sessions. If it's convenient, the intake session takes place in person; if not, I usually break it down into two or three phone calls.
Although phone coaching is preferable, I also do in-person and email coaching, depending on the circumstances.
"Just-in-Time" coaching
By special arrangement, I'm available for "just-in-time" coaching." If you have a specific, immediate need that you would like to be coached through, you can hire me for a session or two to get you through.
How long does coaching "take"?
Like any process, coaching has its "ups" and "downs." Because of that, in order for you to give it a fair try, I request that my clients commit to coaching with me for a minimum of three months. This gives you a chance to experience the benefits of the work.
I have worked with clients for as short a time as three months and for as long as two years. Most of my clients fall somewhere in between.

I have a coach
I know from firsthand experience the benefits of working with a coach. I have a coach and here's an example of how working with her has benefited me:
I had been procrastinating about entering a professional program, knowing that I would eventually do it, but hesitating. Barb helped me look at the situation and myself. We focused on the outcome I wanted and worked on what the procrastination was about.
I enrolled in the program and felt good about the decision. I reached this particular professional goal much sooner than I would have had I not had the benefit of Barb's coaching expertise. With Barb, I set realistic goals for myself and my business — and achieved them.
