Become clear about what success is for you. Only you can decide that. Don't let others define it for you.
Take responsibility for becoming successful. Don't be fooled that's a large responsibility and it involves risks. Know where you're starting and be clear about where you want to go.
You'll likely have more than one goal. It's best to think of your path to success in steps. If you try to achieve all the goals at once, you're likely to become overwhelmed and, perhaps, immobilized.
Don't let wrong turns lead you off your trail.
Notice and acknowledge achievements as you move toward success. Knowledge and confidence will grow with each successful step. Don't forget to pat yourself on the back.
