Argus Coaching
Tip for January 2002

No matter how great a sense of humor you have, continue to develop it. Life is a serious business, but there is plenty of room for humor. I'm not suggesting that you not take things seriously, just that you give yourself permission to find humor and laughter in your daily life and take the time to add some to the lives of others.

Here are some ideas:

  • When was the last time you had a good belly laugh? What would make you laugh likhat? Go do it!

  • Memorize a few jokes that you can tell easily. If you're like me, you've heard lots of jokes and can never remember them when you'd like to. It doesn't take much time to commit a few good jokes to memory. People can always use a laugh.

  • What's your favorite humorous movie or book? Take a break from your work to watch it or read it. What about it makes you laugh?

  • Write a funny poem. Limericks are usually a good format for humorous verse.

  • Who's the funniest person you know? What's it like to be in his/her presence? What have you learned about life from that person?

Since I'm always up for a good laugh, I'd love to hear your responses to these questions. Please email me.

Have a great month!

With an eye on you,
Peggy
